Hi, I'm Carol. And this is Magic.

Magic is my scruffy, sweet, slightly stubborn rescue mutt — and the reason this whole thing started. When his stomach couldn't handle the bagged stuff anymore, I started cooking for him myself. Real chicken, real vegetables, real care.

Friends saw the difference in him and asked if I'd cook for their dogs too. One bowl turned into ten. Ten turned into a small kitchen operation, right here in Connecticut. Now Mr. Magic's Recipe is in homes all across the state — every batch still made by me, by hand.

Where do you deliver? +
We deliver to the CT Shoreline area — Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Westbrook, Clinton, Madison, and Guilford. Local delivery is always free. Not sure if you're in range? Text Carol at (401) 787-2486 and she'll let you know!
How is the food packaged and stored? +
Each meal is portioned, vacuum-sealed, and delivered chilled. Store packs in the freezer and thaw a day or two in the fridge before serving. Once thawed, use within 4 days.
What proteins do you offer? +
We currently offer our signature Chicken & Sweet Potato recipe — whole muscle chicken with slow-roasted sweet potato, garden greens, and whole grains. Allergies or special needs? Tell Carol — she'll work with you.
Is this food appropriate for puppies and seniors? +
Yes — recipes are nutritionally balanced for all life stages. We always recommend checking in with your vet, especially for puppies, seniors, or dogs with specific medical needs.
How do I cancel or pause? +
